Funeral of Elloitt Jason Ramirez

Our deepest condolences to the family and friends of passing of Elliott Jason Ramirez, who departed from this world to our Heavenly Father on February 25th, 2024. Elliott was born to Esmael and Josefina C. Ramirez on March 12, 1986, in San Antonio, TX. He was a beloved son, brother, uncle, cousin, friend and fur dad.  Elliott touched the lives of many with his compassion, joking nature, and unwavering support of others. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

He is survived by his mother Josefina C Ramirez, sister and brother-in-law Emma and Brian Curby, niece Miley Josephine “MJ” Curby and sister and brother-in-law Everly and Alex de Hoyos, niece Addison Everly de Hoyos, many loving aunts and uncles, his beloved dog Beaudee and Pet rat Fizzy. Elliott is preceded in death by his father, both maternal and paternal grandparents, aunt Mercy and his dog Boris. His spirit will live on through the memories we shared and the love he bestowed upon us.

A Celebration of life will be held Friday, March 8th at M.E. Rodriguez Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Rosary will be at 6:00 pm. There will be no procession from the funeral home to the church for the mass. Mass will be at 10:00 am Saturday, March 9th at St Phillip of Jesus Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to San Antonio Pets Alive in honor of Elliott’s memory.

Funeral of Don Samuel Hernandez

Funeral of Juan Chavarria Martinez

Our deepest condolences to the family and friends of Juan Chavarria Martinez.

Juan Chavarria Martinez, 83, entered eternal rest on February 2, 2024 surrounded by the love of his family. He was born April 26, 1940, in Nueva Rosita, Coahuila to his parents Juan and Juanita Chavarria. 

Juan is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Graciela Chavarria, their children; Sandra P. Sandoval (Hector), and Juan F. Chavarria (Laura), their grandchildren; Juan Sandoval (Michelle), Hector Sandoval (LeAnna), Sandra Sandoval Clifford (Kean), Jesus Sandoval, Juan Chavarria, Laura Chavarria, Valeria Chavarria, their great-grandchildren; Antonio Sandoval, Mariana Sandoval, Mia Sandoval, Andres Sandoval, Cristian Sandoval, Santiago Clifford, his sibling Ernestina & Ramiro Chavarria, numerous nieces, nephews and other members of the family. 

He is reunited in Heaven with his parents Juan and Juanita Chavarria. 

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 6, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Mission Park South. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, February 7, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Philip of Jesus Catholic Church with interment to follow at Mission Burial Park South.
