Funeral San Juanita S. Gonzalez

Our deepest condolences to the family and friends of San Juanita S. Gonzalez.

San Juanita S. Gonzalez, 66, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 28, 2026, in San Antonio, Texas

She was born on February 16, 1960, to Marguerite Gonzalez and Rafael Gonzalez. San Juanita attended Brackenridge High School, graduating in 1978, and went on to earn her bachelor’s degree in accounting from Our Lady of the Lake University, where she was proudly on the Dean’s List, and a master’s degree in finance from St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia.

Her life’s journey took her to Houston, where she worked for a petroleum company, then to Richmond, Virginia, where she worked for Kraft Co., and later to Philadelphia with LG Communications. After conversations with her brother Rolando about starting a durable medical equipment company, San Juanita returned to San Antonio. In 2005, she founded MEDwheels – a reflection of her determination, compassion, and desire to serve others.

San Juanita was a tireless advocate for her business and a true champion for small business and underserved communities. She received numerous awards recognizing her success and unwavering dedication. Those who knew her best will remember not just her accomplishments, but her generous spirit, her strength, and the way she lifted others up. Her legacy will continue to inspire and empower the lives she touched – and her absence will be deeply felt by all who were fortunate enough to know and love her.

She was a strong and loving woman, deeply caring and guided by a steadfast faith in Christ that brought comfort and inspiration to so many. She loved her family fiercely, and in return, she was deeply loved – a bond that will live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.

San Juanita is survived by her brothers, Rafael Gonzalez (partners Michael Stiefel and Christopher Bowman), Rogelio Gonzalez, and Rolando Gonzalez (spouse Yvonne M. Gonzalez); her nephew Roland Garrett Gonzalez; and her niece Brianna Jeanett Gonzalez.

A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Philip’s Catholic Church, 142 Lambert St., San Antonio, TX 78204, on April 9, 2026, at 9:30 a.m., officiated by Father Michael De Gerolami. The interment service will be officiated by Father Sean Stinson and will take place at Mission Burial Park South, 1700 SE Military Dr., San Antonio, TX 78214.

She leaves behind a legacy of strength, faith, and compassion that will continue to guide and uplift all who knew her.

Funeral of Antonio Solano

Our deepest condolences to the family and friends of passing of Antonio Solano, who departed from this world to our Heavenly Father on Monday, July 13, 2026.

Tony was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and faithful parishioner whose life was a beautiful example of faith, service, and generosity. A lifelong member of St. Philip of Jesus Catholic Church, he faithfully served as a Guadalupano and dedicated more than 25 years as choir director for the Spanish 10:00 a.m. Mass. Through his love of sacred music and his unwavering faith, Tony touched the lives of countless parishioners and helped lead many closer to Christ.

Known affectionately as “Tony,” he was always willing to lend a helping hand and never hesitated to serve others. Whether restoring classic cars, sharing music with family and friends, or bringing laughter with his wonderful sense of humor, Tony lived with joy and kindness. His deep devotion to Our Lady of Guadalupe, his caring heart, and his selfless spirit will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Tony is reunited in Heaven with his beloved wife, Maria Inez Solano; his parents, Juanita Ibarra Solano and Simon Solano Sr.; his son, Tony Adam Solano; and several brothers and sisters. He leaves behind his children, Leonard Solano, Maria Solano, and Roy Solano; 5 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild; his brothers and sisters; and many extended family members, friends, and fellow parishioners who will miss him dearly.

May the Lord grant Tony eternal rest, and may Our Lady of Guadalupe welcome him into the joy of Heaven. Please keep the Solano family in your prayers during this time of sorrow.
